Business assistance, aid for resilient investments and recovery, emergency benefits for SMEs, short-time working due to force majeure, enhanced family leave…
In order to cushion the shock of the health crisis and preserve its economy, Luxembourg has deployed an impressive and necessary arsenal of measures. And if this “will cost what it will cost”, as Prime Minister Xavier Bettel stated, the question remains as to who will pay and how. While public finances remain under pressure and businesses will need support in the months and years to come, two crucial questions arise: What strategy should we now favour with regard to public finances? What will be the consequences of this strategy on the next tax reform for entrepreneurs and individuals?
Paperjam’s editorial team and the Idea Foundation will moderate an exceptional panel of speakers composed of :
– Michèle Detaille (President, FEDIL),
– Nicolas Henckes (Director, CLC),
– Alain Steichen (Managing Partner, BSP),
– Gilles Roth (Deputy CSV).
